Last year, Ian built a full custom chassis and put a set of modern axles under a 1968 Jeepster Commando that was ready to hit the scrap pile. He turned it into a rolling chassis with a set of 37-inch tires and finished it off with a 3.5L V6 Ecoboost. Flash forward to today, and that engine is just about ready to wire up and fire. First though, Ian needs to do some final assembly with the engine and brakes, install a fuel tank, and plumb the system. With fingers crossed, this customized Jeepster will be all set to hit the street for its first shakedown run!
