First generation Chargers are hard enough to find in decent condition at the best of times, so the new owner of this ‘66 wants to do some modifications before the market for them goes crazy. He’d like to remove the worn down 318 motor and replace it with a 440 he got with the car. However, he doesn’t know if it’s any good and enlists Kevin and Willie to tear it down and check out the bearings and crank to see if the top end and bottom are good to use. Upgrading the cam and heads are also on the to-do list, along with some engine paint to match the car’s exterior.
