Willie B’s 1983 CJ7 has gotten a few much-needed upgrades on Two Guys Garage in preparation for the Build for Off Road Adventure Ride. But there’s still plenty to do! Since Matt Steele will be joining Willie on the Adventure Ride, he and Bruno have agreed to get some of this work done in the Truck U shop.
While the manual 4-speed transmission in this classic Jeep has earned Willie a reputation as the underdog of the off-road trails, it may be time to swap to an automatic transmission. New winch ropes for the front and back winches, an aluminum radiator and electric fan, and some steering upgrades will also be needed to help Willie and Matt navigate the extreme conditions of Johnson Valley.
