Diesel trucks are crazy expensive, and they’re getting more and more complex. This means when something breaks, the owner has to factor in extra cost and extra work to fix it.
Matt and Bruno come up with a more cost-efficient alternative to this issue by installing a newer dropout drivetrain on an older dually long bed 3500 gas truck. While the truck may not have the advantage in gas mileage, they guys hope to make up for it with easier and more affordable maintenance, both in the initial price and in any replacement parts down the road – especially since this truck’s owner only uses the truck for towing, not as a daily driver.
